Just passing by to say hi to you Brian. I hope you're ok. I don't know if maybe fall will make you feel more depressed? I hope you are well. Sending you my love, Gerda
Thanks Red Barron. Please visit again any time.
Don't worry. I'm just ignoring it. Your photos are incredible! Thanks for stopping by.
I figured it was something like that. I thought the picture was cute, however. Good luck on your trip, and I'm looking forward to lots of pictures :)
Hi Brian, that was my fault,i posted the blog for Mono monday, then i did not like what i did and changed my mind.I am going away on Friday and did not have the time for answering any comments that were made so i deleted it.I am looking forward to my trip, but hate packing,i always forget something, but never my camera.I will probably be roaming about in the Humber Estuary with the camera and no socks.LOL
I know you are going to take a break Gerda and I sure will miss you. I don't think anyone would hold it against you if you felt like stopping in for a little peek from time to time :)
Bye for now Brian. I hope to see lots of new blogs and photos on your site when I return to multiply in October!
Ok everyone, I'm back... again. I've become a drama queen, making all this fuss, leaving, and then coming back as if I'd been sick and dying somewhere. Ok, so you don't think it was that big a deal. I wasn't dying, not even sick (just pissed off), ya, a drama queen.
Goodness Bea, you're becoming a poet -- beautiful words.

Hi Bea, I'll email you soon and we can figure things out. Brian
I found this message that I wrote and I thought I already sent it to you last night! I hope to find butteries for my both cameras this weekend! Enjoy reading it! Love forever, Bea I found and my small cannon powerShot S230. Also I found a very old but good cannon camera from my father. I will show them to you. I am being to recharger all batteries for one small camera and Cannon Repel Xl. Also, I found my drawing book with drawing pencils and drawing color pencils. I know you will be busy this Monday and Tuesday for your classes. Right? I am free on either Wed or Friday. Love forever, Bea
Hi Bea, I'm not sure what happened. I'll send you a personal message and see if you get it in email. Brian
Hi from Bea, I clicked website from my yahoo mail box. I save the address in bookmark. It says that I have open personal message. I clicked and nothing came out to me. Boy, I am still learning. Love forever BEa
Of course, guilt can be used against someone -- to manipulate them. While working with children, I found there were two ways to affect behavior (when good motivators were absent): One was to tell them what to do; or two, instill personal responsibility. In personal responsibility, guilt is the flag that tells us when we are doing something wrong.
I would agree but only to a point...developing a morality base perhaps requires learning to feel empathy, and guilt then when the lines are crossed...but too often also have I seen guilt used against the person as well and not in a positive way...
Thanks for coming by projectou. You have many beautiful albums and I hope to find time to view them all.
Hello, BrianS :) Thanks for visiting my birdies. Avocet pics were actually taken in the bay area! They weren't calm at all ^__^
Haha, I don't thinks there's much chance in that! Yahoo has still many, many more problems than Mutltiply! And Multiply has so much more possibilies, I wouldn't like to go back to Yahoo myself!
Hi Gerda, I really like Multiply, but if they aren't careful Yahoo might win back it's 360 bloggers :(
Actually, Multiply has improved blogs with big potos by keeping the text to the far left instead of letting it run way off to the right. Gotta give credit where it's due :)
Hi Gerda, Yes, Multiply is getting pretty quirky. I must admit, however, that I haven't experienced all the problems myself -- I wanted to express a general concern that seems to be expressed in a lot of blog entries recently. I refrained from including a slow speed complaint since I haven't deleted my cookies lately -- I'll take care of that today -- but I don't venture too far from home anymore since it's so slow. I do feel that Multiply is making a sincere effort, unlike 360, to make things better -- I simply think it's a good idea to make a statement when things get too bad.
Hi Brian, Having multiply problems again? Too bad for you. I hope it will be over soon. They seem to try and update the site constantly, I can imagine it leading to some problems every now and then. I've notice a new feature in the comment boxes. If you reply on a comment it will be put directly underneath the comment you're replying on, a bit to the right. Quite handy I think. I hope you're allright otherwise? Gerda
Hi Gerda, I've been taking a new medication that's kicking my butt. I've been a little better the last couple of days and I'll try to post something today. Thanks for checking on me, I'll be over your way a little later. Brian
Hi Brian! How's life? I haven't seen new photos around lately, you're not outdoors much? I hope you're well! Gerda
Ha ha, you just caught me frustrated because I couldn't make photos as big as I wanted them. No thing on the comment, I was just rambling anyway.
| Sorry, I didn't mean to nag.
By the way--I am too brain dead to respond to your long comment tonight--but I don't EVER remember being disappointed by a comment from you, and if I gave you that impression, I'm very sorry! |
Just a minute Karen, I directly uploaded the images and they were too small. So I am putting them in Flickr and then loading them in -- it won't take too long. Sorry :)
Didn't I see somethign about avocets? When I tried to view it--no avocets, no entry.
Hi Vee, thanks for stopping by :)
I am glad to see you Brian
Hi Debbie. Thanks for coming by. I'm starting to get things together again after my urban adventure, but all is well.
am glad to see you around...
Hi Kevin, it's good to be back. I've really grown to appreciate those gulls -- they're very expressive, as birds go :) I'll visit again soon.
Hi Brian, glad to see you back and thanks for dropping by my site. Great front page bird photo :)
Hi Gerda. I thought I posted reply but it seems to have vanished... Thanks for explaining how the delete works now. Multiply keeps changing things and I haven't caught up yet.
Hi Karen, I'm back! Hi everyone! Thanks for checking on me. I'm back in my old apartment -- yes, the same one I moved out of. The new place turned out to be small and dark -- I'll post more later. In the meantime my old apartment was available again, so I moved back in. I'm going to be busy for a while getting the place back in order but I'll start blogging again next week. I'll visit you soon Karen (and everyone), thanks for the kind words :) Brian
Hi! Just stopping by to ask how you are and let you know you're missed.
Hi Brian! How's life? Just passing by to let you know I miss your blogs and I'm still thinking of you. Any news on the house front? I hope all is well, take care! Gerda
Wow Karen, that's really nice to offer but this is of my own doing, and for now things are tolerable. I bought a laptop so I can stay in touch but the batteries don't last long enough to start blogging again.
Is there anything any of us can do?
Hi Karen, Sorry I missed your msg. I don't get to the computer very often these days and may have accedentally deleted it with the many msgs I can't respond to now. It may be a while before things are normal again. Thanks for thinking about me. Brian
| I had no idea you'd lost your apartment. I don't think Multiply's updates are working. I PM'd you a while ago to ask how you were. I hope things turn around soon.
|
Thanks Gerda, for keeping your fingers crossed. You're right, I'm out of my old apartment and living in my old van -- and yes, I have friends I can visit regularly. These are not fun days but there's every reason to expect a decent apartment is in the near future. Talk to you more later, Brian
That's bad news to hear that your apartment didn't work out after all! Shoot! You already left your old house, didn't you, so where are you staying now? At friends? I'll keep my fingers crossed for you to find a new place soon! Take care Brian, Gerda
Hi Phalen! It's really great to hear from you :) It's great that you found your way over here from 360. I'm looking forward to checking out your new Multiply site, but not today. Talk with you soon. Brian
Hi Sue, thanks for stopping by. I had to give up on the apartment I wanted because they just kept giving me a run-around. I'm looking at other places now.
Hey Brian, this is Phalen from yahoo360, life has been interesting for me too, but I hope things get better for ya soon. TTFN
I hope you get settled soon!
