Egad, I just watched the movie American Beauty. I know, everyone else has already seen it, but it somehow passed me by. This is one of the most spellbinding movies I've ever watched. There are so many wonderful/tragic twists and turns. The characters are completely believable and surreal at the same time. This movie works on all levels: story, acting, photography, music, etc. If somehow you haven't seen it yet you won't be sorry.

I haven't seen this movie yet, but I saw it is available at the library. When I get the chance, I'll make sure to see it. Did you see it on tv? Do you watch a lot of movies?

I don't think you'll be sorry -- there's a little nudity and sex but nothing gratuitous.
